That's brilliant, thanks for the link. I have some of the Darling's minces in my freezer but not tried them on the kittens yet as they're still adjusting to the change from Felix to Grau. Am I right in thinking that you can't feed the minces forever though? That's my only concern - not being able to keep them on the minces - don't think I would be brave enough to make my own raw food but then maybe it is a case of baby steps...

Well provided you give them extras like the neck, wings and other goodies ... and perhaps some commercial food once a week it should be fine to continue feeding them

Hobbs explained it in the thread I linked to a bit better than me, as I asked the same questions.

Mine seem to eat less in the hot weather (probably because they don't move around as much). They eat more in the evenings when it is a little cooler.
Darcy would cheerfully polish off the whole tray of NI if I let him - he has been known to climb in the fridge to get it out . He's 9 months old and gets to eat as much as he likes - including what Lola leaves in her bowl! He's like a furry hoover
