Re: Wats the best flea treatment and wormer for cats???

My own prefence is for a brand called Advocate which is a monthly spot-on that prevents fleas, ear-mites & most (but NOT all) worms.

Frontline, in our house, had become totally redundant and had no effect whatsoever. I found the above through this forum and would recommend it.

I balance it with a 'proper' wormer every 3 months to get the few it doesn't cover.

Hope this helps.

Re: Wats the best flea treatment and wormer for cats???

I use Drontal or Milbemax (sp?) for the pillable cats and Profender spot-on worm treatment for the unpillable girl. I get this at the vet.
Oh, sorry for fleas I use Frontline. However, I have heard that fleas become "immune" to it, so I believe you can then use Advocate

I use Frontline for flea treatment and Drontal tablet for worms with my younger cat, but my older cat will not take a tablet at all so my vet gives her a spot on.
