None, there's not really any need for it

Re: What dry food do you feed?

I feed mostly wet (Bozita, Smilla, etc) but the boys do get a little bit of dry every day. I feed Applaws chicken and salmon.

Re: What dry food do you feed?

Mine have changed after every bag so far - They're currently on Applaws but I have Orijen on order which should arrive any day now. The ash content of Applaws (which I only found out about after I'd ordered it) makes me nervous with two boys even though between them they only have a tiny handful once a day, so I thought I'd change them over.

Re: What dry food do you feed?

I have no idea what to buy as far as dry food is concerned.

I cannot afford more then 2.60 a kg.

What decent foods are out there for that price? And i have to be able to buy it in less then 10kg at a time

Re: What dry food do you feed?

Maybe have a look at the feeding guides as well as assessing cost

Some of the better quality foods may work out as cheap because you don't need to feed as much

Re: What dry food do you feed?

Quite simply, none.

If you're going to feed them a poor dry food, you might aswell not feed them one at all or give them a cardboard box to chew on.

Why not use the money you would be saving from NOT buying the dry food and spend more on a better quality wet food that would require them to eat less? Or simply spend it on MORE wet food, to replace the meal where you would have previously fed them dry?

Re: What dry food do you feed?

I have £2.60 a month extra i can use to buy 1kg of dry a month.

I doubt 2.60 will provide enough wet food for an entire month. Unless a 400g tin of smilla cat food will be enough for a 3.3kg cat and a 2.7kg a day?

They eat a can between them as things are atm and a kg of dry a month
