Hi all, thanks for your replies on my other thread. We were thrilled to be able to bring Sandy home today and have decided on the cage rest route. My guilt was alieviated ever so slightly by the vet saying she prefers natural healing to a long and complicated operation to try and repair the pelvis.

Ok, so I went to the pet store to get the best cage they could recommend and came away with an indoor rabbit hutch. I put her in, and all seemed to going ok, but now Im worrying it's too big. Does anyone know if it's ok for her to be able to stand on it, or should I be restricting all movement? If this is the cage, I can adjust the height by slatting some wood at the heighest point it should be.

Secondly, does anyone have experience of their cat losing bladder function after an accident they can share? Did it come back and if so, after how long?
