Question Home made cat biscuits!

I just made a days worth of home made cat biscuits for my cats. using ground rabbit, plain flower, veg oil and an egg. There is around 70% flour and 30% meat and an egg.

They adore them! If i decide to feed these as part of their diet i will try to make it more like 50% meat *egg was too large for the amount i made so had to add more flour* And probably need to add crushed egg shell and taurine.

But how much taurine do you add? If i was to put 1kg of meat in the biscuits and around 50-60% flower how much taurine would you have to add to it?

And im not saying i will feed this as part of their diet all the time. just as an extra *if i go on holiday to see family* make it easyer on the person who is boarding them etc.

Im just researching for the sake of it.

All comments welcome!
