He is a moggy, its just the impresion i got from the vet nurse was that he should have been bigger then that for his age, but i think she forgot that he has survived cat flu.
He is very active and just starting to play out in the garden. I have notice that he tucks straight into the Mac's and leaves the other two for some time before he actually eats it all.

Off to send some emails now. Thanks again :-)

They now have a variety of Animonda, Grau and Bozita, enjoy it, and hardly ever bring it back up.
I found exactly the same thing and mine are certainly not fussy either. I've only sampled the HI-Life sachets but I remember thinking how strange and unappetising the contents looked at the time! They nibbled reluctantly but one wouldn't eat it at all.

Absolutely love Bozita and Animonda though. About to try Grau.

Re: Best food you can get from Zoo Plus!!

I really wouldn't worry, to me he sounds like a healthy weight, unless you can feel the bumps on his spine you are ok. Moggies come in all shapes and sizes so it's difficult to say all males will be a certain size, whereas with a breed like MC you do get a rough idea, but there is still no rule about how big they should get.
He will grow more after he has been neutered too!

Re: Best food you can get from Zoo Plus!!

I have 3 kittens, two are 15 weeks and one is 14 and they all weigh about the same as yours. One of my 15 week old kittens is a little less than that but he's always been small. Been weighing him every week and he is certainly having no problems piling on the pounds, the vet didn't seem concerned either when they want to get vaccinated so I wouldn't be worried.

Re: Best food you can get from Zoo Plus!!

My kittens are 17 weeks old and I had bulk ordered Felix and Hills Science Plan for them before I realised there are better foods available online.

They are currently fed a combination of Hills/Orijen dry food - about 70% of their daily diet. Then they are fed Grau in the morning and Felix at night (until it runs out). After that they will be getting a combination of Grau, Lilys kitchen and Smilla as their wet food. As Hobbs points out, no food is perfect so by rotation at least they get everything covered.

I wouldn't worry about weight as long as it is going up in proportion and the kittens look healthy. Oscar is 200g lighter than Wilbur even though they are littermates and he seems more the Guzzleguts out of the two. However his weight is always 200g lighter regardless, but they are both full of energy and have beautiful glossy soft coats so I think they are fine.

Any photos?

I defo think i will have to keep him behind locked doors!! He is just scrummy! I am so glad he is a fighter and fully recovered from horrible cat flu!! It makes him even more special to me, having to care for him and give him lots cuddles makes him my little baby, lol
