cat rubbing bum

hi folks

i have a female cat called robert and recently instead of walking on her legs she has been rubbing her bum hardly walking

i am not sure what this issue is so can someone help plz??

btw dont laugh at the name because we didnt kno the cat was female until 3 weeks after we named her

Mervin, I think this is one for the vets - ASAP. A young, heck any, cat not walking properly should be a cause of concern and should be acted on promptly.

Please update us when you are back from the vets.

Mervin, take your cat to the vet. There are many reasons why your cat could be rubbing its bum, each of which need to be investigated.

Patricia, the OP has got a female cat.

there must be many many many diff vets there are 4 in my town alone! so another vets ASAP!

There are various issues this can be because;
- Urinary infection
- Worms
- Anal glands that need expressing

So you definitely need her to be seen to
