Worming a 14 week old kitten
Hi there
I took my little one for her FELV vaccination last week, beforehand the vet mentioned worming her at the same time, but she must have forgotten and I have only just remembered myself!
Can I buy a (proper, not supermarket stuff) worming product and do it myself or should I take her back to the vet to do it?
I also wondered what poeple's view on worming is in general. Do you only worm when there are signs of worms, or do you do it as a preventive measure - ie should I worm my kitten even though there are no sign of worms in her poo etc?
Thanks!
PS - the vet report docs I have from the rescue centre show she was wormed and deflead on 11 April, with next wormer due 11 July?
