Eating grass then throwing up

Getting slightly concerned - would really appreciate your thoughts.

William is an indoor only cat.
I heard grass is good for cats and that they crave it? William seems to. So I planted some cat grass and William loves to chomp on it...... and does so nearly every morning - before he has his breakfast.

However, about 10 minutes later he gives a very anguished meow, heaves and throws up. I then wait about 15 minutes for his system to settle down and feed him. He doesn't throw up unless he has eaten the grass.

Occasionally there will be a hairball amongst the liquid. There are usually a few pieces of grass and sometimes the fluid is clear, sometimes it is brownish.

Is it normal for cats to do this?
WHY is he doing it?

Hopefully this is normal

Look forward to your feedback! Thank you.

Totally normal. My cat's do this almost every morning as well. They do it to get rid of the hair, as the grass helps bring it up. They're not, as far as i'm aware sick everyday.

Very normal. In fact, I have a strong suspicion that cats LIKE vomiting. and actively seek vomiting opportunities

Lilly oiked up the other day that was bad enough nothing really in it but oh boy it went in long line and then run under the bed. Jet done his big bro act after and went and sat under the bed with her, with noses touching,
