Fussy eater!

I was wondering if fussy cats are common or if anyone has a fussy animal? My cat has not eaten cat food in several years, not since they've changed the felix recipe way back when which was the only brand of cat food she would eat. We've tried the cheap and the expensive, we've tried cat food with real chunks of meat, in jelly and in gravey, as many brands as we could find and she's turned her nose up to all of them. For a year she would only eat cat biscuits then the inevitable happened and she began to loose weight, so we were forced to feed her cooked chicken. These days she's a good weight, 15 and going on strong. I've enquired this to my Nutrition Principals lecturer and she has assured me that if the cat biscuits are 'complete nutrtion' then her diet is not a problem as she is getting her essential amino acids from the meat and various other nutrients from the biscuits.

I'm curious if anyone else has encountered similar problems with their animals or if she's just an odd cat lol.
