Re: Schmusy cat food
I bought some Schmussy pouches from Zooplus - it looks a bit like Bozita or Whiskas in a gravyish jelly - funny consistency. Not shredded like Almo Nature type. TBH looking at it I wasn't very impressed
My cats think it's okay but don't go mad for it.

Re: Schmusy cat food
Yep the Vollwert Flakes are like chunks in gravy and the cans are like chunks / light pate in jelly. My cat reluctantly ate both, which is good for my fussy cat so they must taste okay

Re: Schmusy cat food
I didn't try the fish ones but I imagine they are same as the meat. If it's a shreddy type food you're looking for I can't think of any off te top of my head that are complete (although I may well be wrong), Porta 21 was but it was posted recently that declaration would be changing to complementary.

Re: Schmusy cat food
I've had them all.
Tins look the same as Bozita Pate/Cans so quite a mushy pate. Pouches are as said before like Whiskas gravy. Real fish tins like Sardine and Red Perch are chunks of real fish in jelly. There is quite a lot of fish in them. Haven't had the tuna ones so i'm not sure if it's red or white meat. Similar to Purely tins. |

Hia,
I buy the Schmusy Vollwert flakes for our cat who is 14 and he seems to really enjoy them. I get the variety box from zooplus. Its a chunky meat in gravy and our Jack likes them all. In these lovely but hot summer days I stir in a few teaspoons of water as he is not a great drinker, and it doesn't make the gravy too runny which i have found when i've done the same with other brands. I would recommend trying a variety box, although I did at one point order a large pack of Rabbit which i thought was in gravy but it doesn't seem quite the same more of a thick jelly/sauce and he wasn't so keen on that. best wishes x |

Re: Schmusy cat food
Sainsburys have a new range of flake style pouches 'Delicious flaked breast of chicken in a light jelly' costs 60p and it says it is complete. They also have a chicken with duck flavour, and a tuna one I think. Two of my fussy older cats love them, one is not interested...but they come as singles so you could give it a go.
