Pork cat food?

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help, my very fussy cat has stopped eating any sort of wet food, she is on JWB dry, she loves it, but wont eat the fish one, however she loves anything with pork, I dont give her much of our food as i'm not sure its good for her but wondered if there was anything on the market specifically for cats.

Thanks

Jan x

Re: Pork cat food?

Curiously there is no cat food that I know of that is pork flavoured. You can get some foods (e.g. Bozita, Lily's Kitchen) that contain pork within their array of meats they use in their recipes but none of them are pork-flavoured.

What wet foods have you tried on your fussy girl?

When you say that she gets some of your pork, do you mean before you cook it or after it has been boiled/fried/roasted?

nope not at all hobbs... i did it myself...... you will physically see the worms comming out of the raw meat. also there are quite afew high profile cases of humans getting worms in the brain due to eating pork .......... its not nice!

this is y muslims and jews dont eat the stuff lol its a dirty meat! i could continue but its not a debate for a pet forum

Re: Pork cat food?

Hi Hobbs,

when I 1st got Kizzy I read thru both your excellent post on wet and dried foods and ordered online some Bozita, applaws, and another one I cant remember, I also had a few posted to me by someone on here, I have tried lots of own brand pouches, Hilife soft & tender, the normal crap food, felix, whiskas etc, applaws, almo nature (which she ate for about 3 months then gradually left more & more so stopped buying it as I was wasting more than she was eating) basically most things lol. As for 'our' food it is always cooked and very small amount of it as I think theres probably to much salt in it, she wont eat cooked lamb or beef, nor will she eat raw or cooked chicken, but you open a packet of pork scratchings and she's there!! used to like a bit of tuna but now wont touch that either. Seems happy on just dried, not sure whether I should just let it be at that.

Thanks

Jan x

Yuk!! thats disgusting- and I have pork chops for tea tommorow
