Re: what do u feed?

Portia only eats Felix As Good As it Looks, cooked chicken and raw beef and the boys have RC Sensible for the older two, Kitten 36 for the baby and wet food is Applaws, Bozita, cooked chicken or raw beef

Re: what do u feed?

I try to feed mainly raw - chicken breast, chicken thighs, chicken drumsticks, chicken livers, lambs kidney. I am still struggling with two of them though, they just don't seem very keen on it and will not even attempt the bone.

They also have origen dry down all the time as i am in and out alot, so I might not be there to feed them when they are hungry.

I was feeding Bozita wet food.

Re: what do u feed?

2 of our coonies are on RC kitten biscuits which is left down all day. They get half a pouch each of kitten whiskas twice a day.

3 of our coonies are on Hills I/D biscuits and we will shortly be trying them on very small amounts of raw food.

Our 3 moggies have RC sensible and they share a couple of pouches of Whiskas wet food of an evening.

Then they all get their little treats of chicken and fish in between.

Re: what do u feed?

Am I the only cat owner who fed my two girls whichever was cheapest at the time between Whiskas, Felix and Go-cat? They lived to 17 and 19 and never had any tummy problems. However Becky (the boss) was able to open the fridge and grab anything tasty inside. She once ate a cream cake!
I reckon that cats are a lot more fussy than dogs so whatever gets them to eat and still be healthy must be the best option. Try everything but stick to it for a few days to see if they are genuinely fussy or just being awkward!

Re: what do u feed?

Gizmo has Tesco premium pouches or Felix. he has a biscuit mix from our local pet shop - not sure what make it is but he loves it. I have to put two scoops in his bowl. If I only put one in he head buts me til I put the second in . He sometimes has RC biscuits too. As a treat he gets beef or chicken or liver sometimes.
I've got a couple of sample packs of RC and Hills for my kitten when I get her - 3 weeks to go! But I know she has been having chicken so I'll make sure I've got a supply in the freezer ready.

Re: what do u feed?

As I am not too confident about totally raw I choose to have a combo for them:

Dry: Origen - but actually they don't eat much of it

Wet: A combo of the following:

Natures Menu

Bozita - both tins and pouches

Tesco Luxury

What I find is that the cats 'tire' of one brand so I keep in several and also for the Bozita different flavours - though TBH Bozita has lasted a long time without them getting 'tired' of it.

Raw: I tend to feed this as a supplement (not confident to do it right)

Chicken wings - usually cut up into 3 at the joints

Any meat (not pork) that reached sell by date and is discounted at supermarket - beef/lamb/chicken/turkey

Turkey thigh diced

Chicken Liver - just tried this and gone a bomb! Have to ration it as organs are supposed to be not more than 10% of raw diet

Oh yes: one is just mad for cheese - if I don't hide it any left overs are knocked off worktop and consumed

Re: what do u feed?

I feed my lot on whiskers tinned food and go-cat dried food is down all the time. They are fed on demand if they come rubbing round me wanting food they get it. I also buy chicken livers now and then as a treat and boil them in water. They also have food off my plate eg:- beef, chicken, fish or ham and cheese etc when i am making sandwiches and even soup LOL I rarely get a meal to myself hahaha.
