Smile Taz is home....

......from his castration (hate that word!). Did cry a little bit this morning putting him into the carrier...he knew something was up, and had to have a gentle push in. Picked him up at 4pm, worried about him all day but phoned at 1pm and they said he was fine. He's home now, nearly eaten a pouch of royal canin sensitive, have a nice chicken breast for him for later. He's fine, much brighter than I thought he would be, he's ignoring us all esp me...the cruel 1 who starved him and took him to the vet, but know he'll come round later when he wants cuddles.

So had him neutered, chipped, wormed and flea'd all for the bargain price of £55, well I thought that was good anyway.

Nice one PCN, he'll thank you at a later date especially with the promise of chicken breast and £55 is a great price imo

Re: Taz is home....

he loves me again, jumped up on my knee earlier for a cuddle. The geese are flying over, on their way to Martin Mere and he's fascinated!! Also as quick as I'm putting the clothes on the maiden, he's pulling them off Am delighted he's recovered so well. Just hope it's not possible to over feed a recovering kitten, as he's eating VERY well

Not a bad price for all that peace of mind in one go. Glad to hear you are forgiven as well!

That is great that you're forgiven. You should also be congratulated that Taz won't be contributing to any unwanted or feral kittens/cats in the future.

Re: Taz is home....

I pleased he's doing well it is a worry.

I think you did well with the price too, I had everything for mine except flea treatment as I had already treated them with kitten frontline the vet gave me as a free sample at the previous visit. My bill was about £54 each, last Friday.

I had to pay £8.00 something last night because one of mine Sooty is still a bit sore.

btw I don't refer to it as castration either it sounds too severe.

Lots of TLC and hugs for Taz.

Sue

Re: Taz is home....

Thanks for the replies...he's still great, although think all the excitement of getting home and being able to eat has hit him tonight as he just wants to curl up and sleep now. He was crackers last night, jumping the curtains, legs, arms etc he enjoyed x factor tho

Probably because he knows that the noises he would have made had he been neutered without anaesthetic would sound better than what was on the telly
