Cool Teeth

Hi everyone,

My Ben has extremely long fangs and I was wondering if I needed to take him to the vets to get them "trimmed>"

Are they causing your Ben any probs or is it that they just don't look right?

Re: Teeth

If the teeth were causing him problems, they would be removed rather than trimmed (teeth are like ours with lots of nerves and this would be quite painful). Some cats, and I've seen it more in Siamese/Orientals, do tend to have longer canine teeth so they have the 'vampire' expression! However if they don't cause him trouble nothing should need doing with them

I have attached a couple of pics of my moggie boy Socks aka Fang....his fangs are incredible but don't seem to cause him any trouble at all....although the Essex mice don't seem to like them very much lol

Re: Teeth

So long as they are not hurting/annoying him then I'm sure it's fine.

Re: Teeth

as long as his bite is level there is no reason why they should cause a problem,

all the better for hunting with,

Can't you just get his lips botoxed so they don't stick out as much? That's my suggestion anyway...
