Nipped out briefly today for some cat litter and when I got back, I sat on the bed with the cats as they were playing with their new toys and eventually noticed I was on a small wet patch. I gave it a whiff to see if it was pee or not, and while it wasn't strong it was definitely cat pee. Four inches up from that there was another wet patch. The cat litter is woodbased and was only changed yesterday so it's fine, plus on the rare occassion Kerry has peed on something it's like a waterfall. Kerry was neutered yesterday though he seems fine, no stitches to come out or anything and Gratch is 2 days off of 7 weeks pregnant. Could either of these cause a cat to pee a little bit in a place they normally wouldn't?

Re: Cat pee mystery
Short answer is yes.
Your boy may still be feeling the effects of the anaesthetic and your pregnant girl may just have leaked a little due to the pressure of kittens on her bladder. Clean the area throughly with a bio washing powder or pet urine stain remover so that whichever one it was doesn't think it's okay to go there again.
