She had a fecal sample and blood tests done at the RSPCA and they were all clear..... I think its probably and allergy or an intolerance..... but ill keep an eye on her and let ya know

My Hugo also has had trouble with passing blood. He seems fine in himself but it is not very nice to see and cant be doing their insides any good. We had him tested at the vets and they said he had a parasite. He has also had very bad worms from when we got him from the CP.

I am not convinced it is purely the parasite, and am also keen to get him on a diet that will be as gentle to his tummy as possible. just not sure what food to choose??

Have you thought about trying him on more fresh or wet food. The high levels of carbs in dry biscuits can cause some cats an issue. There are several threads on here about diet giving advice.

In most instances its a matter of trial and error, every cat is different so what will work for one doesn't always work for another, but if you have a look at the other threads they may give you additional ideas to try.

I hope you find an answer.

Have a look on my thread, Steph has put a link to a site which sells a RC wet food for cats with poorly tummies. I may try Alfie on it as he has got really bad diarriah again which wont go away!

do you have any details about this? not heard that only heard about the additives, salt and protein contents being issues with diarrhea and blood in stool. carbs are usually an issue with low activity, weight gain and glucose levels. the fresh diet idea is another direction to take. sim667 i can't offer loads of advice on RAW as i'm learning about it myself but i'm sure Saikou and many others on here could do

This is what finally convinced me to stop feeding any dried food. Everything in the book makes perfect sense and it's terrifying to think what I've been doing to my cats for the last 20 plus years by feeding them supposedly high quality food

It also really annoys me that these companies are deceiving cat owners by claiming that their foods are appropriate for cats.
