yes... but the question is why didn't her vet recommend it and why did she get it from the states instead of here and is it the same formula as here that a vet would recommend!

I like to pick my vet's brains whenever I visit.
What my vet recommended was L-Lysine supplement that you can buy in any health food store and to add it to cat food daily as a precautionary treatment. A higher dosage to be given to cats already displaying symptoms.

Smelled fishy? I dont see why!!!

I have got it from the states because its not sold in the syringe form over here! Otherwise i would have bought it from the UK.

My vet HAS reccomended L-Lysine actually, but there are more things in this syringe than just the powder/capsules bought over here.

And i HAVE checked with my vet and he agrees to try this.

I'd rather i wasnt spoken about as if i wasnt here as well. Thank you

sorry didn't mean it that way! just was wondering why you chose to get it from the states as you didn't really let us know why and you made out like you couldn't get it here! just wanted to be sure the other things in the syringes you got aren't going to be harmful. you were a bit vague sorry to offend! glad you spoke to your vets about it good to have piece of mind

let us know how you get on!!!
