Re: Balancing on side of litter tray to do a pooh...

He has had quite a lot going on the past while, with changes in the type of litter and the operation.

Littering can start to go awry in older cats from time to time, and stresses or upsets can cause it.

You just need to be conscientious (sounds like you already are) and go back to basics.

Make sure the tray is away from anything that can cause loud or sudden noises (door, washing machine, tv, vehicle), give him a bit of privacy so he knows it's only you watching him, and gently encourage him to get right into the tray.
