Vets ,injections?

Getting my kitten in 2 weeks , when i first pick her up do i need to get her checked by the vet? Most websites say When collecting your kitten get her checked up by the vet in the next 24hrs. When does she need her first in jab/injection?

when you collect your kitten you should always have them checked by your own vet and get them registerd i take it they would have already had their Injections and checks from the breeders vet?

It depends how old your kitten will be when you collect it?

Also, does the person you're getting your kitten from vaccinate kittens before going to their new homes?

Alot of people do recommend getting your new kitten checked over by the vet when buying a new kitten. Just to make sure everything is fine.

Alot of breeders also say you are welcome to get your kitten checked over at your vet and if their are any problems to come back to them.

Re: Vets ,injections?

Def get them checked by a vet if they havent already.

Vaccs given at 9 and 12 weeks and you choose between basic flu and enteritis or flu/enteritis and leukaemia but your vet will give you advice on this. Mine are done for all feel its better to protect them as much as possible.

Good luck wi your new baby, fun, fun, fun!!!
