You are using the brewer's yeast to help with fleas too, aren't you. If you are not making your own food, than it is easiest to just sprinkle some on everyday.

For anyone who wants to know - seaweed also works on the pigments. Black cats remain black and don't get the summer browning. A lot of people who show black cats give it to their cats for that reason. But because it contains iodine and because a cat's thyroid is easily messed with, please use this cautiously and sensibly.
I'm definitely going to start sounding thick now. When you say make up my own food. Do you mean grinding everything? No, that's not what i wan to do.

I plan on 'frankenprey' method where i would bag individual "meals" when every month or so when I bulk buy. So do you mean i would add supplements then before i freeze? I'm a bit confused. Really sorry!!!

Another source of food offal and chicken necks etc are ethnic shops/ butchers.

Hello peecee - no, you don't sound thick at all. No, I don't mean that it needs to be minced.

Get your meat in bulk, chopped it all up. Add the supplements (even if it is only the salmon oil and taurine you want to use), then bag it in individual portions and freeze it all. Or you can add supplements occasionally during the week if you don't want to freeze them.

Alternatively, chop your liver and offal (e.g. kidney) separately. Freeze them in icecube trays and add those to the meat.

Does that help?

Doh - of course they are - I will add the ethnic butchers to the sources list.

I love my kitties, but I think that may be taking it too far. Besides I wouldn't live very long without those ... and then who would give kitty love and dangle the toys?
