Defleaing and deworming indoor cats

Can anyone give me advice on the above. Both my cats are indoors at the moment and i wondered how often to worm and deflea? I still want to make sure they are healthy but i wasnt sure if you still do it as frequently if they are primarily indoors? What do you guys suggest?

Re: Defleaing and deworming indoor cats

I don't deflea mine simply because of how many cats I've got and none of them go out. I do have supplies in stock though because there is always the chance they could get caught whether its carried in on my clothing, at the vets or at a show. Because Persians are groomed very often, I would notice very quickly if my worst fear happened but they havent had fleas in over 5 years

I don't deflea or deworm at all if I don't have any reasons believing the cats have fleas or worms. Simple as that.
