Hill's Nature's Best

Picking up Bilbo on Thursday evening - can't wait.

His breeder has recommended the above mentioned food and i have had a look and it seems good, just wondered other peoples opinions, is good for me as i can get it locally as well.

Re: Hill's Nature's Best

Well i'm still a relative newbie here so perhaps i shouldnt say anything but the general consensus on here is that its not that good
Most recommend Orijen, but if your puss is ok on it i dont see why you should change it

Re: Hill's Nature's Best

i do like the Orijen the only thing putting me off is that it cannot be bought local, really want to try and avoid buying food from internet as not in house a lot during day when mail is delivered, postage costs, not easy to get in a hurry etc. shame

Re: Hill's Nature's Best

I asked my local pet shop if they could get Orijen and they did. They were pleased as other custmers bought as well. Always worth asking -even if they don't know about it, mine must have found it easily - it's good for them and much easier for you

Re: Hill's Nature's Best

Understand about your problem of ordering on the net but not being in during the day to receive parcel.

Pet Supplies, Pet Food, and Pet Products on Sale Now at zooplus.co.uk do origen and you can buy a 7kg bag at 29.50 which when I bought it about 3 weeks ago didn't incurr a delivery charge. You can decant it into a plastic box with lid and take out as needed for the cat(s).

I read on one of the posts that if you chose the other deliverer instead of DVL then if you weren't in it would get delivered to nearest postoffice, but you could check on that before you buy via email, I suppose.

Otherwise I think the asking the petshop idea is bril!

Re: Hill's Nature's Best

I have been using Natures best for my litter, it has no cheap fillers, salt or dairy products in it and they have come on leaps and bounds with it. They also do it for mini- medium and med - large etc.

Re: Hill's Nature's Best

Will try and ask at local pet shop they are quite good and have ordered before.

Failing that will stick with the natures best for the time being then consider slowly changing over to the Orijen in the near future when Bilbo has settled a bit.

First cat so want to try and get everything right and do best by him!
