Good weight gainer?

Can any one recommend anything good for putting weight my cat. Shes such a picky eater and calls almost constantly. Shes having dried biscuits at the moment, aswell as coley ,tuna, and wetfood. she still doesnt seem to be putting much weight on though,
Other than giving hera slab of lard i dont know what else to do!
Thanks

Re: Good weight gainer?

I have given her raw mince beef in the past, i had no problems with it, except for one lot i bought from tesco, it went straight through her. Must of been off, it looked and smelled fine though.
I will try her with a little lamb, is fresh or frozen better?
cheers

Re: Good weight gainer?

Fresh ! watch out for the fat levels in mince meat though-that will go thru them !!- try and get the leanest meat you can. Mine also love lambs heart- (I cut it up with scissors into little cat mouth size bits !!), they also have lean frying steak, lambs liver -but a small amount, (about a heaped tablespoon full), and chicken..all of the above is chopped up finely, and is fed alongside biccies, and their usual Felix...so they have the choice of what to nibble on. they both look really well... there is a thread in this forum about a raw meat diet which is interesting to read.... Jax.

Re: Good weight gainer?

I feed raw and cooked, mine like the lamb raw, but I cook the turkey mince, turkey is really good for putting weight on them.
