My friend unfortunatly has to rehome her 2 cats, due to a relationship breakdown and trying to hold down a full time job she doesn't have time for them anymore.
She is devestated about having to rehome them so they will only go to the best homes.
Rosie is a 21 year old ( yes 21 ) moggie, she is tortie and white and needs a home with no children or dogs, She is a lovely girl who prefers to be on her own with you so she can have all the attention. She is spayed and fully vaccinated. She is a fatty bless her, she has been to the vet about her weight problem but because of her age the vet said there was no point trying to make her diet now. Even though she is 21 she has a lot of life in her and will happily play for a hour with you. She has NO medical problems.
Nero is a 7 month old Black moggie, he is entire but is fully vaccinated, nero is very outgoing and loves to play but he will do as he is still a baby. Nero has NO medical problems BUT seems to prefer vegetables to meat he vary rarely eats meat but veggies he loves
Both cats CAN go together as they get on BUT if needed they could be seperated.

Apparently her new landlord wont budge on the no pets rule even with rosie's age. Which makes things even harder as not even rescue places will touch rosie because of her age. It's such a shame bless her x

Thats a real shame, especially with the 21 year old, couldn't a member of the family take her

There isn't anyone, she has her sons but they live in barnsley and she doesn't see them often.
I'd take rosie in a heartbeat but with me having dogs it'll stress her out to much, even with the other cats that'll give her some stress x

Nero has been rehomed but rosie posie still needs a good home where she can chill out on her own for however long she has left bless her

I think there is a cat sanctuary that takes in "golden oldies" - I am sure I read about it in Your Cat or Cat World - if push comes to shove you could try finding it on an internet search - (think it may have been in the north - possibly Yorkshire somewhere) though obviously much better for Rosie to go to a home. I do hope she finds somewhere.

Thanks hun, I spoke to her again this morning and she wants to keep rosie but cant see a way round it as she's a carer and does up to 70 hours a week so there might be hope for rosie posie yet x
