Re: Radiator beds for cats

I bought a Kumfy Kradle from one of the online pet stores, which was sturdy enough for two adult Burmese of approx 18-20lb combined weight*:

Kumfy Kradle Radiator Cat Bed Danish Design

I tried adding a second one of a different brand, which I bought from a colleague at work, but they preferred to share! They also seemed to prefer the new one with its fake-fur cover to the fleece on the old one, but maybe it feels more like a mummy cat's fur to them

* They're not kidding when they describe Burmese as "a brick wrapped in silk"

Re: Radiator beds for cats

The first one I bought my cats ignored, gave it to a friend for her cat who was never out of it! Bought another more substantial one & they love it. I must admit, they also use it as a mini trampoline to jump from my bed, to the radiator bed, to the windowsill, lol!

Re: Radiator beds for cats

The kittens I fostered loved it (& looked SO cute in it) but their mum wasn't bothered. Then the next two cats I fostered weren't bothered either. My current foster Benji has been in it a couple of times but he prefers blankets and our bed!

It's hit and miss. Mine was donated to me by a friend whose cats had rejected it!

Re: Radiator beds for cats

We've just bought one for our cat, and he always uses it, so I think they are worth buying.

Re: Radiator beds for cats

Bit of a hit or miss really.

Mine loved it but my friends cats never bothered. I got mine on ebay.

This is the details on pets at home website though:

2 in 1 Radiator Cat Bed by Pets at Home | Pets at Home

Got it just incase she didn't like it raised up so it could sit on the floor as well. It's very sturdy but the cover doesn't come off. It's easy to clean though - I used to hoover the hairs off then use a damp cloth and it always looked great.
