too right, you should be more concerned about the cats welfare, rather than making money.

Come on JellyBean, do the right thing for this cat, shes worth that if nothing else surely. You have to be seen to be doing whats the ultimate best for her. Let one of us take her for free. There's been some offers of a loving, caring home.

Re: Siemese Cross 12 months old, Pregnant

Hi again to everyone, Im sorry if my thread was worded badly and came off the wrong way.
I will explain everything to everyone so they understand.
If you look on the cat breeding thread and then help needed you may understand the situation more.
Basically a friend at cats protection tipped me off about a cat breeder that was getting out of control and since cats protection in my area was full my friend asked if I could be at hand. Which I was, the previous owner had just sold the 12 week old kittens which Fifi had, had, and informed me that she was pregnant again. Knowing this I was prepared to take both her and the Bengal cross on, with cats protection helping me with various stages.
Although unforseen circumstances have now arisen, basically I have been having problems at work as some of the other members of staff were being bitchy to say the least, one wanted me out and told me this numerous times, and after months of puting up with it, Ive had to quit(since I was basically told if I dont, I will be fired) With that happening, I am now in debt due to not being able to pay rent, which is causing arears, aswell as my partners dog who was recently spayed, which the stitches then got infected so we had to get medicatio from the vets constantly(leaving a big whole in our pockets) (which doesnt bother me as my pets well being come first) I am on a mad hunt to find a new job now, although knowing the job hunting world could take months. I saw it in the best interest of Fifi to put her up on here as I know how experienced most of you are, atleast then I would be able to see how she is doing, and how the kittens are. She doesnt have to go today, I didnt mean to put that, I was in such a rush to get it up so one of you lovely people could help me, I didnt read it before I posted it. So sorry for being so bad with how I worded everything.
Im not trying to make money off her at all, I planned on keeping her, getting her spayed, and letting her live out her life with me kitten free. As she seems to of had such a rough start already. Its just with so much happening right now I do need the money and I did pay that for her originally. Im not bothered about lowering price etc, its just with Poppy(Our dog) still on medication it would help greatfully.

Im not trying to be selfish I just think she would be better off somewere else simply because, With what has happened I wouldnt be able to afford everything that comes with having kittens. Im thinking entirely off Fifi.

I think Ive explained everything if anyone else has any queries please ask so I can clear it up for you.
I dont mean to be rude by saying this but can people not slate me and judge me before you know the full story(I understand it was probably my fault for not wording things properly)

Re: Siemese Cross 12 months old, Pregnant

yeh it does sound you're having a bad time of it.. but I don't think you will be able to sell a pregnant cat, especially a non pedigree as the person who will be taking her on will have to pay kittens vets fees, worming, flea treatment, neutering, then the hassle of trying to find the kits new homes.

Surely just giving the cat to someone on here for free will take the stress off your shoulders of having to provide for her and the kittens.

There are so many dedicated cat lovers on here who you are lucky that are more than willing to help you out.

You're asking someone to make a big sacrifice, you can't charge them for it

Re: Siemese Cross 12 months old, Pregnant

I understand what your saying Bee, I need to pay for Poppys meds,at the worst Im going to have to withdraw a loan. Will have to chat with my partner on the situation, as he is involved to. Obviously this situation isnt money orientated it would just be a help, by all means I will give her up for free its just that, I know thy have to pay for vet bills, flea and worming etc, although in the end they will sell the kittens.
Will put the idea to my partner and hopefully we will be able to rehome her.

Re: Siemese Cross 12 months old, Pregnant

I have to agree with Bee & Kay to be honest.
You mentioned the cats protection helping you at various stages, so as you helped them out, can they now not help you ? Also, even if you'd never had the cat your dog would still need the medication and the expense would still be there. Is the dog not insured ? What about the PDSA if you are short of money, they are very good i've heard.(trying to help here)
Kitten rearing costs a lot, not just for them and all that goes along with rearing them, but keeping Mam well fed and in condition so she can feed her babies. I can't think they will get much for cross type kittens when sold. I think you need to just let her go to a loving home and you can concentrate on your dog. I'm sorry about your job ect, i'm sure it can't of been nice at all. But if you can't afford to keep animals, then you have to let them go for free.
