We bought that scratching post for Tilly when we first got her; she soon grew out of it as it is quite small but for a kitten would be great. She played with the dangly things a lot and always used the scratcher, both the base and the post.

Unfortunatly its a bit heavy for my scales but im pretty sure it would cost IRO £8 via courier when all boxed and wrapped up
Is that any help  Iv also added a few more bits to the bundle as Iv bought his lordship a matching set of blue bowls and matt (Im soooo under the paw!)
