How do people go about putting there house alarm on when your cat is in,and is allowed to roam all over the house.

You should be able to "zone" your alarm. Don't ask me how as I'm a technophone but I know you can as my OH does it for ours.

Thanks for the advice but she roams everywhere and i dont want to lock her up.

I agree with the others... you dont have to lock her up and she can roam everywhere if you just set your alarm to windows and doors. that way the sensors in the rooms will not be active and your alarm will still sound if somebody opens a window or door to break in...

the Zones are just names for the different sensors - not the rooms around your home so you should be fine

My alarm man put special sensors in my house for me that don't pick up the size of the cats - think you can get them for cats/dogs etc. They don't set it off, so it does work, lol!!

Thanks for that advice my alarm doesnt do just windows and doors so i will call someone to see if they can put those things in for me.thanks joe.

We have a small dog and when we had our alarm fitted in our new house the man fitted censors that are not pet sensitive, and they cost the same as the ordinary ones.
