Why are they rare, what breed are they?

If they are moggies they really arent that rare and shouldnt be charging a larger amount just because they are red girls. If however your normal kitten selling price is £150 then i dont really have an argument, other than the price seems a little high. I have seen pedigree registered health tested kittens being sold for similar amounts, and these would come already vaccinated, wormed, de-flead with a full kitten pack and a lifetime of support from the breeder.

Just my opinion on the matter, and not a dig. If you can sell them at this price then go for it, but please dont call them rare, if they are moggies they are not rare.

erm yes they are. so before anyone else tells me otherwise get your facts right and look it up because i dont think i have to explain the facts of genetics. i have sold 3 of their sisters for 200. if you have seen a full pedigree one for the same or less then buy it or tell me about it and i will! i came on here to put an advert up as this is the 'classifieds' area not a bitch about the person selling a cat area!

No need to be so defensive they were valid polite questions, you're the one wanting to sell your kittens 'asap' you sound a delightful person.

I am well aware of the genetics surrounding the production of red or cream self females. However they are not rare, and certainly shouldnt constitute a higher price because of it.

I did say i wasnt having a dig, just pointing out that red girls are not rare. Less common maybe but certainly not rare.

Just editing to say, the general percentage of ginger(red) cats being female, is around 25% that is certainly not a rare colour.

and that is exactly why i put ish! the kittens are an accidental litter to my red persian but the father is a ginger moggy. anyway they are sold.
