Re: For all the Raw feeders out there

Just a quick question on the sample box-it says price refundable on your first full order.

Does this mean ,if I have one of those ,and they like it and order some more then the price of that will be taken off the total??

Sorry if I sound a bit thick ,(having a dense day!!) but thought would check I was reading this right

That's exactly what it means. I'd prefer to send samples out free but with the cost of packaging and shipping for frozen goods it would be cost prohibative (the £10.00 just covers the cost of shipping and packaging). So this way you can try the products and if they go down well and you order more you get your initial £10.00 back.

I fancy trying this with my 2 but they are only 6 and 5 months old..are they too young for a raw food diet?

Re: For all the Raw feeders out there

Just got my box - Wow! Have never been pestered by Logi so much (and that is saying something)

Something worth mentioning is that the courier did want a signature, and my neighbours signed for it then went out! (typical as they've only signed for a total of 3 things in 30 years!) The box came at 10:30 and I happened to be in this afternoon so I got my hands on it at 16:00 - in that time the meat was about half melted so there was a bit of blood on the bottom, and the packages were a bit squishy. If this was for humans than it'd be a bit of a problem, but I'm sure it's fine with the cats. The only downside for me is that I wouldn't normally get home for another 2 hours - Would it still be ok then?
Have you considered putting ice packs in there? Abel and Cole pack their boxes with cheap branded ice packs, which I then leave out for them to collect and use again. Could be something to think about for regular customers? I guess it depends on how melted it can get before it's a problem.

Overall fantastic service. Thanks!

(Little Miss Kitty - my boy is only 5 months and he was trying to rip the packets open while I made space in the freezer. Perhaps you could try your two on a little bit at a time? - this is what I am doing. See how they get on with it)

Re: For all the Raw feeders out there

Due to the volume of the sample packs they can defrost a little, but are ok to re-freeze. This is why we send them to be delivered before 12:00. The larger orders will keep for over 48 hrs in the poly box because the walls of the box are thicker and there is more frozen volume.

Glad your cats are keen.

I feed my kittens from as soon as they can eat solids on raw. They start with mince but by the time they are 8 weeks they also have rabbit chunks and day old chicks. At 5 / 6 months they are ok to start having raw food.

At first don't buy lots of different types as cats can be fussy and you can end up with a freezer full of stuff thay they won't touch. This is one of the reasons we offer a taster pack. It is enough to see what they like and don't like but not too much that there is a waste if they turn their noses up at one or two types. As an example mine aren't keen on the chicken, but devour all the others, whilst a friends cat loves the chicken but turns their nose up at wild rabbit!

Re: For all the Raw feeders out there

just ordered my sample pack - the only thing I had to say was about the paying bit - I was going to use my credit card (to get the tesco clubcard points) but noticed the page wasn't secure (no padlock at the top or https) so ended up using paypal. Might be worth looking into as you don't want card details getting ripped off your site!

Hi,

Sorry about that I was in the middle of site maintenance I thought that I had disabled orders during the maintenance.
