Re: Can anyone help

Look into getting a rescue prehaps some of the "cheap" kittens will probably come with health problems glaore and in the long run will cost you alot more. In money and heartache.

Re: Can anyone help

Tend to agree with the above poster.

I would try for an older cat - maybe from a breeder who wants to re-home.

Hi,

I would put a wanted ad on here with exactly what you can afford, I hope you get what you want. I know Siamese kittens are expensive but maybe there is someone out there who has a nice baby who will let you pay in installements or they need a special home for one!

I have a five year old too and its so hard to watch them be upset and unhappy. Best of luck to you!

Izzie

There are some Siamese kittens on preloved at £300 in Fareham. The Ad says they come with 6 weeks insurance eady to go in April. There is a lovely pic of them might be worth you looking at that one. I think a lot of people have had to reduce their prices at the moment..

Hi,

I think it also depends on where you are, some prices down south are much steeper than in the North. What about a siamese cross? I am sure there will be some of them about at moggy prices. I don't think anyone can really afford to sell them too cheaply because of the cost involved in raising a litter.
I hope a kitten is found for you really soon. It will give your five year old something to look forward to, it can't replace Hocus but makes the pain a little less doesn't it?

Izzie

Re: Can anyone help

Hi, I have just re read your introduction posting to the forum and it says you have another cat that has just had 4 kittens, did I miss read this? If not could you not consider keeping one of the kittens for your Son to keep as his own?.

My nealry 5 year old son is broken we had him when hocus was 5 and she has always slept with him progressing from my nursing chair when he was just a newborn to actually sleeping in his bed under the covers with him ever night. My son has stated waking in the night crying for her and we have now decided we have to get another kitten but our son has said he wants another hocus and i agree nothing else will do i personally love a siamese the are so affectionate and are big enough cats to take the big love our family gives. We would ideally like a kitten for our son he turns 5 on the 31st of march although we are aware that they are very expensive we are posting in the hope that someone will have one somewhere that they arent asking too much for since we dont have alot anymore. We are not bothered what sex or colour and are eager to hear from anyone we would even consider slightly older siamese to. Thank you for letting me go on and i await to hear from anyone.
