Hello all my hubby and I have decided to get our son a kitten for his birthday (his 11th and he has been asking for a kitten since his 6th) We always budged for b/days and have spend most of it already hehe we have just £30 left so fingers crossed we can find him his dream present. If anyone can help out that would be great. I know he wants a female that is mixed colours so a tabby or tortiose shell I think he means?? Thnks for reading xx lisa xx

I assume you are looking for shorthaired as long hair will need lots of daily grooming.

Hi I have looked on some of the internet sites and although there are some in my price range some are just too far to travel to. I don't mind either long or short haired, he would spend a long time grooming regardless to the need lol he is not the sort of child where once the novelty wares off he would forget to do it. Hid b/day is may, but if I get one sooner then he can have 1 present early lol. xx

Hi I live in Aylesbury, would travel to places like milton keynes high wycome around an hrs drive, as pick up would be daytime when kids are at school, I also have two in pre-school so time is a restriction. Thank you for keeping an eye out for me xx lisa xx

Just looked on freeads.co.uk and found kittens 7 weeks old in High Wycombe at £50.
Deflead, dewormed and litter trained 2 nice tabby but don't know if girls or boys it does not say. advert only been on 1 day ring 07013 194549

No not yet, though with sooo many kittens arriving on this forum I might allow myself to feel a little hopeful..lol xx

have you tried local rescues? that way the kitten comes complete with jabs and neutered, or with a voucher, health checked and as an added bonus your son gets the bonus of 'saving' his cat.

Just a note though, with the £30 left over you mentioned for buying the kitten, I assume other costs (all the kit, vaccinations, food, neutering etc) are all within the normal household budget?
