so basically instead of looking for a home to take him in,they would have just put him to sleep??is this usually what vets do in this situation.

Aww thats horrible...just glad he found a home just in time for christmas too so he gets to snuggle up infront of the tree ( yeah right...more like trash it lol) and have lots of cuddles
