Re: Looking to rehome a adult cat

This is going to be a very difficult cat to find a home for, perhaps even impossible. I think you need to be aware of that.

Re: Looking to rehome a adult cat

Poor cat

Is there really no way you can keep her? Unfortunately there are so many cats in needing a home that older ones especially get over looked. After being in a home environment for so long she will probably find a rescue centre incredibly stressful

Re: Looking to rehome a adult cat

Firstly I would really really think about adopting out your cat which has been with you for so long. Rehoming her really has to be the very last option. I know you have not elaborated on your personal circumstances and that is fine, but it will be very tough to rehome an older girl like this and it will be very tough on her, so if there is any way you can adapt and keep her, it should be done.

Secondly, this would receive better attention in the Cat Rescue and Adoption - Pet Forums Community section if you do indeed need to go ahead and adopt her out.
