I've just joined this forum as I've made the decision to adopt a cat and have been looking at a few on the Blue Cross & RSPCA sites and I'm surprised that people are saying that not many people want an adult black cat as that is exactly what I do want.
Yes there are plenty of kittens to choose from but in my situation as I work all day, that wouldn't be feasible so I'm looking for one about 2 years old.
So your cat seems lovely and is exactly what I'm looking for, however, there's a small problem in that I've already got a week's holiday booked for 2nd week of Nov so it's only right for me to wait until after that. Both the BX & RSPCA won't reserve an animal for that long which is fair enough so I said I'd see if the ones I am looking at are still available then.
If my situation fits in with you, please let me know. I live in a ground floor flat in London with my own garden which is secure, but I do know that other cats live in the vicinity. The BX refused one particular cat on the basis that she wouldn't be suitable for a city, so I thought it best to mention it.

Sounds like it. Still it would have been polite of them to at least reply to your emails. Unless of course the baby's arrived in which case they may be a bit sleep deprived
