Sort of, my partner opened the door to let the dogs out(now normally he wouldnt shoot outside) but as my partners dog darted outside she stood on his tail causing him to scatter and that was his first adventure outside after only living there for 3 days so obviously he doesnt know the area and has gotten lost.

normally he isn't really btothered abou going outside i use to be able to leave the door open for hours for the dogs and he would just stay inside, he is brilliant! it was just unlucky I suppose

her Raggie escaped when her partner was letting the dogs out.

But yes I agree with what you're saying that Raggies cant and must not be let outside unattended as they are not like any other cat and cant defend themselves

I hope the ragdoll found is your's, And my i suggest you do what i do with my kitten while he is too small and uneutured to go out. I shut him on the hall way if i have to open the back door for any length of time. When iv'e done what i need to do and close the door i let him out. But i do get a right ear full for putting him there in the first place lol Good luck.

he is not a free roaming cat he only ever went out in the garden (whilst being attended) as we had a very secure garden. I was told by the breeder about raggies not being ideal for outside.

I do hope you find your cat and I seriously hope that the one in rescue is him, please dont get upset with people that post and dont read the whole thread.
