Ragdoll Found - Grimsby

Hi All

We have been asked to post on some sites that a male ragdoll entire about 2yrs old has been found in Grimsby. He is in good condition and currently with a rescue and is being cared for; he was shut in a shed. There was building works nearby and they fear he may have got in a lorry or van. He is a very handsome chap and if anyone knows if any one has lost a boy please contact
Dawn of The Ragdoll Rehome Group on 01442 381509

Thanks.

I read on one forum that microchips can migrate quite a way from the back of the neck. One cat had a microchip around his stomach area!

Yes, they can move. My dogs has moved to her chest, near her elbow. I noticed something there while grooming her and the vet confirmed it was her mircochip th enext day. They said if a do gor cat gets lost, it will be scanned all over. Didn't fill me with much confidence though, as the vet had trouble finding it despite me telling her where it was!

Re: Ragdoll Found - Grimsby

Yea, one of our cats moved down to her shoulder I took her to the vets and asked if it was ok. They said yes, it does occasionally happen until the chip settles and gets fixed by the tissues. Luckily it has'nt happened to any of the others
