I know it's the wrong website but maybe somebody could help me?
I have to move out urgently (rent increase without warning) and find another small flat or room. The only problem are my cats.
For me as a single, professional person with references would be not a problem to find a nice room or flat. With two cats it's a different story.

Could somebody in this forum help me? Is somebody from SL or knows another person willing to rent me a room/small flat?

Do you think hiding cats from an estate agent is a good idea? Any ideas or experience?

Hmm, I don' think it is a great idea to lie completely about the cat issue...but neither would I raise it at the first meeting. If asked outright I think most agents/landlords will say NO, but if they have got yo know you and seen good references it may be another matter.

Have you had a look on gumtree you may find something on there or pop your own ad on there.

You know, I was going to suggest that too!
My other suggestion would be to think about taking on a cat friendly small house and then sub letting a room ( as long as landlord is ok with that) as that would actually be cheaper than a one bed flat overall.
