The hugely succesful Purr & Simple cat litter offering seven times more odour elimination than other cat litters is still on special offer.

This is the basic flat rate we use for all the UK, including Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland.

Re: 100% natural cat litter from £5.99 a bag

A blonde question to all of you who use this non-clumping litter. I have been using clumping litter for years now so am struggling to get my head around this and their claims.

It is easy to scoop out the poop but what do you guys do with the wee? And how often have you changed the whole tray now that you are using this litter?

Re: 100% natural cat litter from £5.99 a bag

I have used both types and to be honest like both for different reasons.

The poo is really easy to remove, it's the same with both types of litter.

The pee is absorbed by non clumping litter (some more than others) and you change the entire tray every few days. Some litters get really smelly (i find this with catsan etc). The best i think are the wood based ones. they are very absorbant and really help to keeps smells to a minimum.

But you see, that is where it gets confusing because they say the litter lasts for ages. But how can it if you have to completely change the tray every couple or so days?

We change our Purr and Simple about every 10 to 14 days, 2 cats. At this stage it's not smelly but wifey thinks that the longest we should leave it. Good saving!

Re: 100% natural cat litter from £5.99 a bag

Ah! And it copes with the wee of 2 cats for 10 days without it sloshing around at the bottom? (Sorry, that is a rather vivid image...). Do your cats go out too or are they purely relying on that tray?
