Re: 100% natural cat litter from £5.99 a bag

They come in to use the tray! honest! They do use the tray and it is very absorbent. Have tried it out on the guinea pigs as well!

It is easy to scoop out the poop but what do you guys do with the wee? And how often have you changed the whole tray now that you are using this litter?
My cats poop is quite hard so yes, very easily removed. The wee is absorbed by the pellets, so no sloshing wee. I change our trays every 7 days or so with Purr and Simple but could probably leave longer.

I use clumping litter too. Do you not just get a slushy mess in the bottom of the tray with wood pellets? Have used that type in the past but did not like it for this reason. Is Pure and Simple better?

Purr & Simple is highly absorbant so you do not get the sloshing around. You also do not get the sludge at the bottom.
If you click on this link it will take you to their site and there is a video explaining it all better than I can.

Purr and Simple - All-Natural Cat Litter
Hope this helps,
Cheers Fraz.

I really can't see why anyone would choose non clumping over clumping?

Re: 100% natural cat litter from £5.99 a bag

Purr and Simple is so absorbent and the pellets do not disintegrate. There is never any urine debris in the tray, it is all absorbed and no smells of ammonia. It really does seem to "trap" all the pong. Cleaning out a tray with P&S is so easy. I am in the process of changing over from Worlds Best, which I use in one of their trays and P&S which I use in the others. For me there is no doubt which is best.

P&S has several clear advantages I think: no smell, no tracking, far easier to clean out tray, less frequent changes required.

If a cat had diarrhoea then I suspect removal frpm a clumping litter would be easier and less messy.
