Well please forgive me for being concerned about the kitten, he may not be yours, but if you are in a position to advertise him on behalf of your friend, then I'm would assume you are also in a position to advise your friend on her options.

Sorry to hear that he could end up in a pet shop. Let's just hope there aren't anymore born that end up in these horrid places!

I had a litter a while ago from my female tortie and she had 3 kitten - 2 black and white were male and 1 ginger was female. I was surprised aswel but was definately a female!

It turned out to be a female, I gave the owners number to someone from here but I haven't heard if the kitten has been rehomed yet.
