Re: haws syndrome

Its so interesting to hear about these things that are significant to certain breeds, with Persians and semi-longhairs is the pkd issue and other cats seem to be safe from that. Other breeds seem to be prone to different things like this, which is good for everyone to learn about.

Re: haws syndrome

just before Lily gave birth to the kittens she had the runs for a couple of days and her inner eyelid was showing in her left eye. I was starting to get concerned after a few days and booked her in at the vets for the following day but then all of sudden the inner eyelid had disappeared and her toileting and returned to normal.

I didnt realise this had a name. This is why i love this forum. You always learn new things.

Re: haws syndrome

My 8 months old kitty has just been diagnosed with Haw's Syndrome. How long did it take to go away? I hear that its between 2 weeks and 5 months...

Re: haws syndrome

Two of my girls had it about 3 years ago.
My vet said it was nothing to be concerned about and that it would sort itself out.
He was right
It took about 3-4 weeks if I remember rightly.
One morning they woke up and it had gone
