i will have 8 cats when they come plus i look after and feed a semi feral cat , fleas all sorted regulally and worming and vacines up to date on each and every 1 of em and i have no man and lots of love to give , i have a 3 bedroomed house with loadsa nooks and crannies and very happy cats that live like royalty

Hi Siamese Candrika - as a five cat household, I can only say, as Janee says, if you have the resources, time and love then you decide how many cats to live with at home.

I started with one foundling. After he died aged nearly 17, I got two potential breeding queens and one pet. These three are now ten years old (the older girls are spayed) and I have one more breeding queen and her daughter to make it up to five today. So you see, its not that difficult to develop the numbers of cats in a household. One does have to keep a careful watch on one's own emotions though because it's so tempting to have more.

Candrika, I wish you well with your fur-kids. Please post us some pictures of the two new arrivals when you can.

Fluff is well out of order there. Good on you taking on more fur babes and I wish you every success! I have a few very good Siamese and Oriental breeder friends on here that will fill you in with all the advice you need. So you stay on lass and don't listen to the stoopid stuff that some peeps say

Hey S. C. I am a happy single person, no kids and only a two bedroomed house. I have 16 cats and 2 gawgeous kittens, all live indoors, I have a couple of spare rooms due to that which go to my handsome boys for their stud pads, lol. So keep at it girl you is doing a brill job!
