bindiboo is on a distinguished road
cookie getting extra cuddles this morning

A little upset this morning. Took the kids to school, by car, along a stretch of busy road. Loads of traffic moving and what I thought was a carrier bag was a kitten about the same age of cookie in the road

It was running around manic, and I had to swerve slightly to avoid hitting it. As I looked in my rear view it was on the pavement. 3 Minutes later when travelling back, I noticed a group of school kids gathered. I stopped my car and asked if the cat was hurt. Unfortunately they said it was dead, so it must have been hit by a car before or after I saw it in the road.

I went over to check and the little tabby, no older than Cookie, was dead on the grass embankment.

Poor little kitty, she didnt have a chance with the amount of cars on that road even though the speed limit is 30/40.

Poor family, if she had one, when they find out, as it must have gotten out of its home. Cookie only goes out into the garden and has not been allowed at the front of the house as I worry about the road (quiet residential road).

I have reported it to the rspca and they registered the details in case the owners contact them and then had to ring the council to have it removed.
