Re: New kitten and big bro bunny

Cheeko was fixed at 12 weeks, they seem to tollerate each other ok. The kitten is more interested in the bunny than he is in her. I am keeping them separate while im out during the day but soon as i am home they get out in the living room together. Only prob so far has been a bit of nerves, one gets freaked which freaks the other and i have bunny behind sofa thumping his foot and kitten up the curtains (oh and me hyperventilating). Generally tho no probs! Just bought some feliway to hopefully help with the bed wetting and also got Tiff booked in at the vet this aft for a full check over (tho i am convinced the peeing is behavioural).

Re: New kitten and big bro bunny

Hi ClaireAre you using the same litter that she was using at the rescue centre, as it maybe the actual feel of the litter she was objecting tooMaybe get some softer litter and sprinkle over the top of her usual and see how she goes

Re: New kitten and big bro bunny

Hiya, just to thank and update everyone who replied. Tiffany has now stopped weeing on the bed and I have also discovered the answer as to why she did it in the first place. My suspicions of it being an attention seeking thing were confirmed yesterday morning as she pee'd on my bath mat while I was showering. If she meows and doesnt get attention staraight away she pees wherever she is even if it is 2 feet from her tray!!!!!! Anyway I'm not cross I'm just happy I know whats going on, I had her fully checked by a vet and there is def no medical issue although she is very small and light for her age (see my post on health and nutrition if there is a fussy eating klitten expert out there). She is def growing though can see a big difference in her in only a couple weeks.
