Re: Safe Garden For Cats and Dogs

Jayuzuri, that does look super, my garden isn't as big as yours though, but I do like the idea of it being covered completely on the roof area.

If I can, I'll take some pics tomorrow and let you see the layout of our back garden so I can perhaps get some suggestions please from you bright sparks - lol

Thanks again

Sally

Re: Safe Garden For Cats and Dogs

That is wonderful! Who made it/designed it - was it you?

I really think there is an opening for a business to market well designed secure gardens. Probably not in the current climate though.

Not everyone has a DIY mentality - if the price was right and the expertise was there I would willingly pay for someone to design a secure cat enclosure like that.

To totally secure my garden using secur-a-cat or purrfect fence would cost £1k +

Re: Safe Garden For Cats and Dogs

Okidoki.

Here we go, I'll post some pics of different angles of the back garden, to see if someone has any good ideas - sorry for weeds in pics!

As you'll see, we have a small back wall which leads out onto the huge field behind the house. The back door and the back window (in pic 3) are next to a fence, but that fence (I think) belongs to next door and they won't let us touch it for any reason. At the other end of the kitchen door, (pic 5) there's a space there to walk round from the back of the house round to the front door, so we plan to put a gate up there.

Hmm, I think I need to start another post to be able to post another couple of pics which show the view from the bottom of the garden up to the house! lol

Re: Safe Garden For Cats and Dogs

Ok, let me try posting another couple of pics, so you can get a better idea.

The space between the back window and the length down to that little area beside the cat house, i(2nd pic in 2nd post) fairly long, so might can do something on there, although at this point in time I use it to hang up the washing! lol
