Re: What to use?
Wait until tomorrow and go to boots the chemist for the right shampoo if you want to bath her, I wouldn't bath her I would use a damp shimmy on her coat and comb it

Re: What to use?
I would probably sit down and give her a good comb with a flea/nit comb to see if there are any live ones.sounds like she`s got flea dermatitis, allergy to flea bites,i had a problem recently it took several months of 4/6 wekly treatments of frontline COMBI to clear cats and house
stick with it,youll sort it in the end![]() i probably wouldnt bath her, anything may cause irritation if she has broken skin![]() |

Re: What to use?
I have used johnson's baby on my cats loads of times, but as Clare said if there is any broken skin and in view of the scabs its maybe not a good idea. You can always bath her in it once the skin problem has cleared. Longhairs look gorgeous and fluffy after a bath and a blow dry.
Just had another thought against the bathing idea. The heat from a hairdryer may be painful and if you leave a longhair to dry naturally that is when you will get knots and matts. I'd get back to the vets tomorrow and point out that you don't think the Frontline has worked and ask for something for the skin problem too. Let us know how you go on ![]() ![]() |
