Angry Why I oughta...............

............wring your neck Marley moo!

Marley is currently on a prescription diet due to being allergic to many of the ingredients in commercial cat food. We are currently in the middle of a food trial where we have to add various things like chicken, beef, lamb etc to his dinner in order to try and identify just what he is reacting to. Layla on the other hand can tolerate all foods and quite enjoys them thank you very much....unfortunately despite being allergic to them so does Marley

We have gone to great lengths to stop Marley tucking into Layla's grub, these include installing a microchip cat flap on the down stairs toilet door. We put Layla's food in the downstairs loo (not literally!) and have programmed the flap so that only she can access it. The toilet door remains permanently locked as the kids got into the habit of keep leaving it open and kinda defeating the object Marley takes it upon himself to stake out the toilet door 24/7 (he still can't work out how come Layla can float through the flap whereas it clicks shut in his face lol)

Needless to say recently I have been quite smug at outwitting the Marlster by thwarting his plans to chomp down Layla's munch and turn into a bald kitty as a result. Therefore you can imagine my dismay when I came down this morning to discover that Marley had been on top of the fridge freezer (not a dinky affair but a great whacking American size one!) and navigated through all the crap that gets chucked up there straight to Layla's bag of Royal Canin! He'd chomped through the bag and helped himself. It wouldn't be so bad but this cat is currently fed on fresh lamb each day as part of his food trial (which incidentally is now buggered up as if he has a reaction it is 50/50 whether the lamb or RC caused it!)

Time to find a new hiding place for the Royal Canin me thinks.

Grrrrrrrrr bleddy cats..... who'd av em??
