How can I get Molly to be quiet?!

Last night I lost two hours of sleep to Molly meowing non stop!! I tried bringing her up in my bed and she will lay there for 30 seconds and then jump down.. And then she will stick her arms underneath the bedroom door and scratch it...

She has to stay in my room there is no other option because she is a foster and my cat (who is living in the rest of the house, but not my bedroom) doesn't like other cats

I ended up getting up out of bed and feeding her wet food even though there was a bowl filled with dry food... Just so I could get her to be quiet! Of course once she was done she just meowed meowed meowed.. scratch scratch scratch..

I don't know if you've ever heard cat nails on wood but it's pretty loud.

What can I do to get her to quiet down?

Are you sure she's not in heat again?

I was considering that possibility.. Wouldn't she be.. Err.. Bleeding? It's only at Random points during the day where she will yowl and meow... Her kittens are almost 7 weeks old now.. How can I know if she's in heat? How often do they go into heat?

Re: How can I get Molly to be quiet?!

they don't bleed - if she is in heat - she will yowl, not necessarily all the time - my girl yowls then sleeps, yowls then sleeps. She will roll and rub herself on the floor, present her bum and curl her tail to the side, she may paddle her feet or she may not. She may do all of this or only some. She may spray, and she is trying to get out of the room in order to find a man. It will last for around 5-10 days and normally happens every 3 weeks.
